Call for 2026 Proposals

As we open OPEN, we’ll be accepting proposals from Rhode Islanders for use of our space in 2026. The space is a small, sub-200 sq. ft. box inside a large industrial hallway at 50 Sims Ave in Providence. While modest, it’s a great location near the Steel Yard, various F&B offerings, and offers WiFi, clean restrooms, filtered drinking water, and a strong sense of community.

OPEN is open to just about any idea but, projects which center research, archival, and collecting practices—both folk and professional—will be prioritized. If OPEN feels like a good fit for you, please reach out via the form below. Thank you for sharing your ideas!
