OPEN’s Work
On September 5, 2025, OPEN opened at 50 Sims. We worked with scout on the space’s framework; the structure was then built by Dean Martineau and his team. Here, we host around a dozen exhibitions annually, plus special projects and occasional live events. We also house several collections of small objects and ephemera. If you’d like to propose a project, please head over to the project proposal form.
OPEN and the PPL
Providence Public Library, in partnership with AS220, OPEN, and the City of Providence’s Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, has formed a curatorial collaboration to activate and sustain the library’s gallery spaces during a period of transition. The PPL proposal form is here.
OPEN and 50 Sims
OPEN is helping build systems, processes, and strategies to highlight 50 Sims’ tenant projects, to host engaging events, and to share space thoughfully with the public. Proposals for small public or private community-centric programs should be directed to events@50sims.com.
