Rock Collection Collection—a collection of pre-made rock collections—got started around 1988. In 2016, support from Science Sandbox helped the collection grow from one item to around 50. Canonically, this is an OPEN project despite it existing before OPEN did. Kind of in the same universe or, a line of thinking that led to OPEN. RCC has been displayed at Ace Hotel New York, The City Reliquary in Brooklyn, and New Lab. In 2018, the collection—save the one original item from 1998–was donated to JP KidsArts in Boston.
