Art, Culture, and Community. Open Valley Returns November 7

Open Valley returns! The second edition’s happening this Saturday, November 7 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Walk the amazing Woonasquatucket River Greenway Bike Path and consider the area’s central role in the industrial revolution. Visit studios and galleries, and learn how organizations like the Creative Reuse Center of RI, The Steel Yard, Teatro ECAS, WaterFire, Wilbury Theatre, and 50 Sims put the Creative in Creative Capital. The Refill Shop is celebrating the grand opening of their new location at Farm Fresh RI, and the gallery / project space Unit B on Harris Ave will be opening their doors to the public for the first time.

The poster above, once again drawn by the awesome Jules Kang Sharpe, will help guide you on a self-directed day of discovery. Check out this recap from spring in Boston Art Review, too!

Get all the latest here. Thank you to The Rhode Island State Council for the Arts (RISCA) for supporting this event, and the whole volunteer crew!
