reharvest / repair / reception
Ayako Maruyama and Markus Berger’s reharvest repair invited artists, designers, makers, repairers, hackers, scavengers, and re-makers to submit work for a curated exhibition exploring acts of re-harvesting and repair as creative, social, and ecological practices. On International Repair Day—October 17—we celebrated the show’s opening at the Providence Public Library.
This show is part of an ongoing series at the Providence Public Library organized by the Providence Department of Art, Culture, and Tourism, Neal Walsh (AS220), and Ben Sisto (OPEN). Our signage sponsor is Wayfinder Collaborative; photography services donated by Therese Iacono Photography. Our media parter is the Providence Eye.
OPEN is a place for things, located in Providence, Rhode Island. We curate and produce exhibitions and events for public benefit.
